GIMATIC AGG: Gripper for positioning
Used for precise positioning between the robot and the mold.
Before the injection of plastic, it is necessary to install the metal insert into the mold. The gripper AGG-B can be attached to the EOAT, while the steel bush AGG-C can be attached to the mold. When the robot approaches the mold, the gripper is pressurized, allowing it to engage with the bush. AGG-21-B and AGG30-B are double-acting with safety springs, keeping the gripper engaged even without compressed air (NC).
